DigitalChalk: Managing & Maintaining Roles

This session focused on Managing and Maintaining Rules in DigitalChalk.

Establishing Rules can increase your efficiency as you manage your courses and users. But what happens when one rule interferes with another? Or when you unknowingly make a change that impacts a rule elsewhere in your environment?

Like any complex system, things can get tangled and messy, preventing you from achieving what you’re trying to do. To use a common metaphor apropos of the season, it can be like trying to identify the one bad light that causes the whole strand to go out.

In this session, we helped users learn to find and declutter rules for registration, catalogs, and notifications. We shared tips and tricks for finding which rules are connected to which courses or elements and taught users to manage them.
